A personal view on the Eurovision Song Contest
As promised I’m kicking off a series of interviews we had with a couple of artists at last week’s event in Amsterdam. I’ve been able to go and interview participating artists at the three most recent editions for Belgian website http://www.eurosong.be and now you can find them on here as well. We managed to get 10 artists in front of the camera & I’ll publish two per day – allons-y!!

My my, how time flies! Seems like only a month ago we were in Amsterdam for the 2011 edition of Eurovision In Concert and suddenly there’s the 2012 edition. And as if the guest list from the previous editions weren’t impressive enough the Dutch team that organises the event had managed to round up 23 countries this time: quite the achievement! Here’s a first impression of the day and a quick review on the performances at night…

I’m reviewing everything in order of draw: I’ll first give my general thoughts on the countries’ choices, then I’ll subject them to the DIMI test and finally I’ll score them, accompagnied by a predicition of how I think they’ll do in Baku.
